Workshops bring Science to life in your classroom or in the stunning grounds of Emo Court, Co. Laois, in the very heart of Ireland.

Why it matters

In a generation the frequency, duration and quality of an Irish child’s outdoor life has decreased dramatically. Studies have shown how time spent in the natural world can help physical and emotional fitness; stimulate intelligence and creativity. The entrance to Emo Court is in Emo village. Emo is 3 km from the M7 Dublin – Cork/Limerick motorway. It is 11 km north of Portlaoise and 7 km south of Portarlington. Both towns have railway stations.
